Driving Directions: From the South (Albany/Eugene)

• Going North on Interstate 5 (I-5), take Exit 256 (Market St.) and turn left off the exit heading west.

• Go approximately 2 miles to Broadway St. right after 5th St.

• Take a Left on Broadway St. which turns into High St. There is free parking at the Marion Parkade that you can enter from by staying straight on High St., other parking is listed below.

• Take a right on Marion St. and two blocks down you will reach Commercial St. (a one way street)

• At the intersection of Marion and Commercial turn left on Commercial. The Chemeketa Parkade is on the left one block south. Walk south one block on Commercial Street and you have arrived at the Go Downtown Salem Music and Wine Festival!

Driving Directions: From the North (Portland)

• Going South on Interstate 5 (I-5), take Exit 260-A (Salem Parkway)

• The Parkway merges into Commercial St. in 3.4 miles

• Stay on Commercial St. going south for 1.3 miles

• Proceed through the intersection of Chemeketa and Commercial, the Chemeketa Parkade will be on your left. Walk one block South on Commercial Street and you have arrived at the Go Downtown Salem Music and Wine Festival!

Parking:

City of Salem provides free parking in 4 major parking structures; they are listed here in order of their appearance.

1. Going South on Commercial, take a left on Union St. The Marion Parkade is located on the second block on the right hand side. Entrances are located all around the building on Union St., High St., and Liberty St.

2. Going South on Commercial, take a left into the Chemeketa Parkade right after Chemeketa St.

3. Going South on Commercial, take a left on Trade St. (one way), go down one block and take a left on Liberty St. (one way) and go down one more block and take a left on Ferry St. (one way). The entrance of the Liberty Plaza Parkade will be on the right hand side of Ferry St.

4. Going South on Commercial St. take a left on Trade St. (one way). Go down two blocks and take a right on High St. The entrance to the Pringle Parkade is on the right hand side on High St.

Additional parking is available at the State parking lot, (referred to as the Red Lot).
Going South down Commercial St., take a left on Center (one way) going away from downtown about 6 blocks. The parking lot is between Summer St. and 12th St. on the left hand side. Entrances to the parking can be found on Center St. and Marion St. (parallel to Center going towards downtown).

There is a parking lot on the north end of Riverfront Park. The permit only parking spots are open on Saturday and Sunday for free.
