"2010 Summer in the City Music & Wine Festival"

Information & Application
The following will be provided by *Go Downtown Salem:

One 10’ X 10’ canopy booth

Electrical service based on
individual needs.

One 8-foot skirted table

Up to 2 chairs

Listing in all printed materials

Site map in advance

Access to water service at no
charge

24-hour security
-
Clean-up, dumpsters and sanitation
services at no additional charge

Extensive publicity throughout the
region promoting the festival
Fee: $300
-
The vendor BASE Fee is the cost for
a 10’X10’ booth, one skirted table, and for the Short Term
Concessionaire Permit (STCP) for those who sell or generate
revenue.

The Short-Term Concessionaire
Permit (STCP) is required by the City of Salem for all exhibitors
who sell anything. The fee is already calculated into the Base
Fee. Vendors just need to complete the form and submit it with
their application.

Food Vendors will be required to
submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance meeting the standards
set by the City of Salem at least 30 days before the festival.

Food Vendors: A Marion County
Health Department Permit is also required, and there is a fee. For
additional information, contact the Health Department at
503-588-5617.

Wine Vendors: Must complete a
Special Event Winery or Grower Application and enclosed a separate
check in the amount of $20, payable to the OLCC. All persons
serving wine must hold a current service permit or attend a
training class that meets OLCC requirements prior to participation
at the Summer in the City Music & Wine Festival. OLCC requires
proof of liquor liability insurances at a minimum of $300,000. All
servers will offer a uniform (4) ounce pour per glass or (1) ounce
pour per taste. Established prices will be determined. Sales by
the sealed bottle or case are allowed. Vendors are responsible for
complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

Refund Policy:
The fee will NOT be refunded if a registered vendor does not
participate or cancels.

Booth locations will be assigned by
Summer in the City Music and Wine Festival.

Vendor agree to hold Go Downtown
Salem and Marion-Polk Food Share their officers, agency or
employees harmless from any and all claims, causes of action and
suits accruing or resulting from any damage, injury or loss to any
person or persons including but not limited to persons whom the
Vendor may be liable under any Worker’s Compensation Law and
Exhibitor personally, for any loss, damage, cause of action,
claims or suits for damages, including but not limited to loss of
property, goods wares or merchandise caused by arising out of, or
in any way connected with the exercise by the vendor of the
privileges granted herein. “Hold harmless clause” includes the
serving and sale of food items and any claims arising.

No move-in, move-out will be
permitted during festival hours. All items or supplies not in
place before opening time must be hand-carried into the site,
keeping the rights of the public in full consideration. Vehicles
are not permitted to be parked by location.

The vendor agrees to occupy exhibit
space as assigned and to be open and staffed during all regular
festival hours.

Vendor shall be required to have
any and all business licenses and other permits needed for the
conduct of business.

Vendor shall promptly remove all
displays, merchandise, debris and other materials at the close of
the Festival and shall leave the area as nearly like it was as at
the time of move-in as possible.

Vendor agrees to abide by all state
and local regulations, including fire regulations.

Beverages and Food may only be sold
by approved vendors and the Summer in the City Music and Wine
Festival.
