Come Experience the Variety of Wines Presented at Summer in the City, Music and Wine Festival We Appreciate the Following Wineries…

CHRISTOPHER BRIDGE WINERY
- Christopher Bridge focuses on the finest of the cool climate varietals grown in the Willamette Valley region, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. What was once known in our family as Westwind Farm has, over the course of more than five decades and three generations in the care of the Carlberg family, emerged as a truly unique place to live and work. Old prune tree orchards have disappeared and, more slowly, the large mounds of wild Evergreen and Himalaya blackberry patches, mostly remembered in the innumerable delicious pies we’ve enjoyed from their abundant, richly flavored fruits.

HIP CHICKS DO WINE - Making fun wine and wine fun at their urban winery in the Southeast Portland, Oregon. In August of 2001, they opened their not so ordinary winery in a not so ordinary location. An industrial district, tucked in between Reed College, Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens and the Brooklyn Train Yard, is home to several artists, a micro brewery and the chicks phat, funky warehouse turned winery.

MIA SONATINA CELLARS - Owners Vern & Jo Spencer had a dream. Beginning in 1997, they began making wine in the garage. Over the years, they moved from amateur to professional winemaking. Finally, in January 2004, Mia Sonatina Cellars was "born," the culmination of the dream. Their goal is to create quality wines for an affordable price. Currently, they are a "Virtual" winery, but eventually, will develop their own property to include a winery, tasting room and gift shop.

NOBEL ESTATE - In 1999 Mark and Marie Jurasevich started Noble Estate Vineyard by planting the highest quality Pinot Noir grape plants. Marie and her pruning crews literally work leaf by leaf, cluster by cluster to nurture the grapes with the richest depth of soils and finest exposure to sunshine. Keeping all leaves upright and exposed to sunlight despite wind or rain make the difference, Marie says, because "it's all about capturing the sun."

Pheasant Valley Vineyard and Winery
Located just 60 miles east of Portland Oregon, Pheasant Valley Vineyard and Winery is in the heart of the Hood River Valley. The winery is quickly becoming one of the most recognized and awarded wineries in the Columbia Gorge.

Once the home of an organic pear and apple orchard, the winery came to fruition when owners, Scott and Gail Hagee, replaced 16 of the acres with Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Tempranillo and Gewurztraminer grapes.

The couple then converted their packing house into a tasting room and opened in April 2004.
Since then, Pheasant Valley has grown its wine list to more than 15 varieties. All the wines are made with grapes grown locally, either in the Columbia Gorge or Columbia Valley appellations. The diverse climate in these appellations allow for the cultivation of almost any wine.

Pheasant Valley currently bottles a number of different varietals including Chardonnay, Riesling, Zinfandel, Temprannillo, Syrah, and Pinot Noir. The winery prides itself on having Pinot Noirs that rival that of the famous Willamette Valley's. In fact, in 2006 Pheasant Valley produced an Estate Organic Pinot Noir with no added sulfites (the first harvest of the grapes) which won a Gold Medal at the 2007 Northwest Wine Summit.

Aside from your typical wine varietals, Pheasant Valley also produces a semi-sweet, semi-dry Organic Pear wine that has quickly become one of the wineries hottest sellers.

WAVING TREE WINERY - The Vineyard & Winery (formerly Maryhill Vintners) is located in the log cabin across from Maryhill State Park off US 97 just north of the Biggs Bridge. Wines produced include Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Fran, Sangiovese, Barbera, Grenache, Syrah, and Viognier.

WEST SIDE WINE STORE - West Side Wine takes the time to select on the best for their customers, of which many selections come from small, little-known artisanal producers who make extraordinary wines. Their mission is to give you something they know you'll enjoy and help you be a confident and adventuresome wine lover.

WEST SIDE WINE STORE will also represent the following wineries:
